24/7 Mental Health Crisis Phone Support
BHSVA offers 24/7 phone support to ensure individuals in crisis are never alone, no matter the time of day. Our around-the-clock crisis line connects callers directly with trained behavioral health professionals who provide immediate emotional support, de-escalation, and guidance on next steps. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, needs help determining the right level of care, or simply needs a calm voice to talk to, our team is always available. This continuous access helps individuals stabilize in the moment when help is needed most. Our mental health hotline is available to speak to all citizens of Virginia.
24 Hour Urgent Care
Our Richmind office is open 24 Hours to provides a safe alternative to the hospital ER for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Guests can stay for up to 23 hours to receive immediate support, including assessment, stabilization, and crisis counseling. This program is designed for temporary care, as licensing guidelines prevent a full 24-hour stay. Individuals may walk in, be transported, or be referred by community partners. Most guests stabilize and return to their home with a plan in place, while others are connected to a higher level of care when needed. Available at our clinic in Richmond, Virginia.
